A kraken sits on top of a vintage-style diving helmet. Put a lit backflow cone on top and the smoke flows down over the helmet, giving a misty, deep-sea look. It is a fun gift for fans of sea monsters and adventure stories.
It measures 17.7 cm tall, 12.7 cm wide and 12.3 cm deep, weighs about 425 g, and is made from resin and polyresin. Cones are sold separately. Use backflow cones only. Standard solid cones will burn, but their smoke rises instead of falling. You'll find them in our backflow incense cones collection.
Why does the smoke fall? A backflow cone has a hollow channel through its base. The smoke is drawn down through it, cools on the way and comes out heavier than the warm air around it, so it sinks. It flows best in still air. Keep it away from open windows, fans and radiators. If your smoke goes up instead, read why backflow incense might not be working.
Safety: burn on a flat, heat-proof surface. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep it away from children, pets and anything that can catch fire, and keep the room ventilated.
